5.5 x 7.5 Textile Art – Abstract Fabric Sculpture – Upcycled - monochrome study

Quantity

A small, sculptural textile art piece made from 100% upcycled materials, cut, shaped and arranged entirely by hand.

This piece is part of my Monochrome Study — an exploration of how different fabrics behave when they all sit within the same colour family. Using multiple tones of red, each fabric brings its own texture, weight, and surface quality, creating depth without relying on contrasting colours. The variation comes from the materials themselves: smooth beside textured, matte beside soft jersey knit. Everything is placed by hand to build a cohesive, unified red composition that feels rich, warm, and intentionally restrained.

Lightweight, warm, and modern — perfect for adding texture to any small wall space.

A compact hand‑placed fabric sculpture created using fully upcycled materials, including a reclaimed foam base.

Every fold, curve, and layer is individually shaped by hand, giving the artwork a soft, dimensional texture and a one‑of‑a‑kind character.

Add colour and depth to tight spaces, gallery walls, shelves, or entryways. The warm palette and layered fabric create a modern, tactile look that feels both minimal and expressive.
