This piece is part of my Texture Study — a focused exploration of how different fabrics behave when layered, folded, and shaped by hand. The emphasis is on contrast: smooth against rough, tight weaves against loose ones, soft curves beside sharper ridges. Every piece of fabric is placed individually to create a surface that feels rich, tactile, and dimensional. The result is a cohesive, sculptural texture that reads as calm but visually detailed up close.
