A small, colour blocked hand-placed textile sculpture created from 100% upcycled materials — even the foam base is reclaimed.
This piece is part of my mixed media Study — a separation that flows. The tones punch and the flow soothes. The white rope gives a balance that brings it together. The rope is an upcycled drawstring, one of the silver anglets is preserved in this piece.

inspiration: This piece reminds me of the extreme changes in landscape from the cone of a volcano to the surrounding countrysides, how lava destroys everything in its path and creates a hard boundary against everything it doesnt touch.
